Beach

Anchor Cottage has two beaches within walking distance and a river beach right outside at low tide.

Stoke Beach has lots of great coves at low tide making it perfect for rock pooling and hunting for shells.

Cellar Beach is great for skimming and whiling the afternoon away with a picnic.

Both are dog-friendly all year round. There is a guidebook at the Anchor Cottage that lists where you can take for dog depending on the time of year. It also gives up to date information on parking, disabled access, where you find find goof food and drink nearby and directions.

Both  require a bit of a climb to get to them but it definitely worth it.
