YAY!
Anchor Cottage opens 4th July
We are absolutely delighted, thrilled and extremely excited to be able to open Anchor Cottage on Saturday 4th July 2020.
About Anchor Cottage
Anchor Cottage is a stunning 4 bedroom mews-style cottage right on the rivers edge in Noss Mayo which is a small village on the South Devon Coast. If you book you will enjoy direct access to Newton Creek so you’ll be able to launch your paddle board, kayak, boat or even yourself straight into the water! Paddle up the Yealm or head out to Celler beach or even just one of the three local pubs, it’s a fantastic way to see the local wildlife and nature.
The cottage is arranged over three floors with the living area making full use of the stunning riverside view from the balcony. There’s a ground floor double bedroom with a shower room and three further bedrooms on the second floor. The master bedroom has a Juliet balcony too.
About Noss Mayo and the South Hams
Noss Mayo is a small South Hams village with a sister village, Newton Ferrers, across the creek. The estuary flows down to the sea and a wealth of gorgeous coves and beaches to suit all tastes. Stoke Beach is 1 mile from the cottage and a delightful walk. At high tide in summer a ferry operates between the villages and Wembury or you can grab a water taxi. There is so much to do here; from birdwatching to rockpool safaris, cycling to kayaking, shopping to dining. You’ll never be stuck for something todo…
Will it be safe?
In this most difficult of years the key question is will it be safe. Holiday Cottages Noss Mayo is following the strictest safety protocols issued by the government, AirBnB and the latest AA Covid-19 Safe Scheme. You can see all the latest information on the BBC.
What does this mean for guests?
- All bookings are taken online, there are no cash transactions
- The property has its own entrance with a key safe for safe access
- There is parking for 2 cars outside the property
- Between each guest stay the property will be deep-cleaned and disinfected*

Will I still be able to enjoy a good holiday?
You’ll be in Devon so the answer is YES!!!
There are so many places where you can roam freely with lots of space and provided you follow government guidelines with your own safety and that of others you’ll still be able to create the most amazing memories here at Anchor Cottage. You’ll be wondering why you ever went abroad…..
We look forward to seeing you soon!
