The Perfect UK Staycation

Bonnie is an award winning fashion and travel, influencer and blogger . Her previous jobs have included being fashion Editor of British Elle Magazine as well as writing for Sunday Times Style, Grazia and Vogue. She’s also been the Travel expert on ITV’s This Morning as well as appearing on Sky News and BBC. So I was delighted when she came to review Holiday Cottages Noss Mayo for her award winning blog The Style Traveller, as she says:

Bonnie has been travelling all over the world finding luxury places to stay and great places to eat as well as stylish things to do. So what did she think of Anchor Cottage?

“With a dreamy waterfront location in the centre of Noss Mayo and sunny views of the bay, Anchor Cottage is a gorgeous 4 bedroom, self catering property.

It’s the perfect base for families or small groups on a Devon staycation. Particularly baring in mind the latest 6 people (bubble) government regulations.

The open plan, fully equipped kitchen and airy living room space with balcony makes it the perfect place to socialise or chill out. There are parking spaces with the house and the garage has kayaks and life jackets if you’re feeling energetic.

The prettiest local beach is only 1 mile away.”

I’m thrilled that Bonnie enjoyed her stay so much, especially after reading some of the amazing places she has visited! When we opened Holiday Cottages Noss Mayo on 20th March 2020 little did we know what was to follow! We had bookings for Easter and May Half-term as well as weekends in June…and then Covid-19 struck.

Luckily since opening on 4th July we have had nothing but 5 star reviews (AirBnB, Booking.com & TripAdvisor) and lots of delightful comments and most importantly we think we have helped in a small way to create some beautiful family memories in these strange times.
